Refund Policy

The first payment of a monthly plan is refundable for 14 days, the self-hosted licence for 14 days from purchase. After that, a plan simply ends when you cancel it.

1. Monthly hosted plans

First payment. Ask within 14 days of the first payment of a plan and we request a full refund of it. We do not ask you to justify it.

A renewal you did not want. If a monthly renewal went through after you meant to cancel, ask within 7 days of the renewal. We request a refund of it and end the plan if the bridge has served no requests since the renewal — we check the request count of your bridge, the same figure your console shows as “since the last renewal”.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt or by writing to us. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for: the bridge keeps working until then and the plan is not renewed. We do not refund part of a month.

2. Self-hosted licence (yearly)

Ask within 14 days of the date of purchase and we request a full refund of it. A yearly renewal is a purchase too: the same 14 days apply from the renewal date.

3. How to ask, and what happens next

Write to support@avakode.com from the email address on the purchase, or use the link in your Paddle receipt. One line is enough. We answer within two business days. Refunds are issued through Paddle, our Merchant of Record: we request the refund on your behalf and Paddle returns the money to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days, under the Paddle Buyer Terms. The plan ends when we request the refund: the licence is cancelled and the bridge stops answering calls for that tenant.

4. Your statutory rights

This policy is in addition to your statutory rights, and to the rights the Paddle Buyer Terms give you — such as the 14-day right of withdrawal of consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK — not instead of them.
